The women of the Eau Claire Rugby Club are students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where rugby is officially a club sport. The team was started in 1997 and has featured athletes who have competed at a national level. The team has made two trips to the Final Four of the Midwest, most recently in November of 2004. They are led by a USA Rugby Certified Coach, Erin "Rosie" Rosenberger. The goal of UWEC Rugby is to strike a unique balance between competitiveness and relaxed fun. The team is always seeking new players who are looking for a challenge and a little adventure. Come play or just come watch! We look forward to meeting YOU!
